Moissanite
Moissanite is a durable gemstone known for strong brilliance and fire. It offers a bright, diamond-like appearance while remaining a distinct stone in its own right. Where a product lists a carat weight, refer to that product page for the exact specification.
925 sterling silver
Many Philologi pieces use 925 sterling silver: an alloy containing 92.5% silver for a balance of precious-metal content and practical durability. Sterling silver can naturally tarnish over time and can usually be refreshed with gentle polishing.
Gold-plated sterling silver
Selected pieces use a gold finish over 925 sterling silver. Plating is a surface treatment and will gradually wear depending on skin chemistry, moisture, friction and exposure to cosmetics or chemicals.
Lab-grown gemstones
Our colour collection includes lab-grown sapphire, ruby, corundum and spinel. Lab-grown stones share the same or closely related material characteristics as their mined counterparts while being produced in controlled conditions.
