No. Philologi is a curated jewellery label. Pieces are sourced from specialist jewellery manufacturers and selected by us for material, proportion and style.
Is moissanite a diamond?
No. Moissanite is a different gemstone with its own optical characteristics. It is valued for its durability, brilliance and fire.
What does 925 mean?
925 indicates sterling silver containing 92.5% silver. The remaining alloy improves strength for jewellery use.
Will gold plating wear?
Yes. Plating is a surface finish and naturally changes with wear. Water, sweat, friction, cosmetics and chemicals can accelerate that process.
Are your gemstones mined?
Products identified as lab-grown use laboratory-created stones. Some pieces may use other materials such as opal; the individual product page is the final specification.
